Map a Unit in 3 Steps
Don’t start with daily lessons. Open the "Unit Overview" page from your curriculum kit and write the one big idea you want your learner to walk away with. Next, use the "Resource List" page: jot down everything you already have, what you can grab from the library, and what you’ll need to buy or make. Finally, fill out the "Weekly Snapshot" with 2–3 activities that match that objective.
This loop—idea → resources → schedule—keeps planning focused and prevents the “too many tabs open” feeling. The kit’s templates are just guides; the real work is in filling them honestly for your family’s rhythm.
