Zoom Attendance Logger for Teachers

Free Zoom Attendance Logger for Teachers

Stop taking roll manually. Turn your Zoom meeting data into accurate attendance records in seconds.

Teaching takes enough time. If your classes meet on Zoom, you already have the attendance data in your meeting reports—this tool helps you actually use it. Upload a CSV, get a clean list, and spend less time on admin and more time teaching.

How it works

  • Upload a Zoom Cloud Meeting Report CSV (easily exported from your Zoom account)
  • Select the session date and class from your uploaded meetings
  • Download a cleaned attendance sheet with participant names, join/leave times, and total duration
  • No install, no extension, no tracking—just a simple, browser‑based CSV processor

Who it’s for

  • K‑12 teachers running hybrid or remote Zoom classes
  • Adjunct professors and higher‑ed instructors
  • Workshop leaders, coaches, or anyone using Zoom for regular group sessions

Key features (honest, no exaggeration)

  • Free to use — no credit card, no subscription tier required for basic CSV import
  • Generates ready‑to‑print or LMS‑ready attendance sheets in plain text/CSV format
  • Auto‑filters out meeting hosts, panelists, and duplicate entries
  • Privacy‑first — reports are processed locally or via simple upload; no data is stored or sold
  • Beta‑grade transparency — features may expand based on teacher feedback, but core CSV‑to‑list conversion is always free

Get started

Upload a Zoom meeting report and get your attendance list instantly. No account required for the first use.

[Browse CSV file] → [Select session] → [Download attendance list]

This is a free beta tool. No payment info needed. If it saves you five minutes a week, it’s doing its job.

Built for teachers, by a teacher. Feedback welcome—what’s broken, what’s missing, would you recommend it to a colleague?

Tips & notes

Prep Zoom Attendance in 3 Steps

  1. In Zoom, go to Reports → Usage, select your meeting, and click Download CSV.
  2. Open the file. You’ll see columns for participant name, join/leave time, and role. Delete or hide any you don’t need.
  3. Drag the cleaned file into the logger. It reads the column order, extracts names and timestamps, and outputs a ready-to-use attendance list you can print or upload to your LMS.

No formulas, no manual re-typing. Just a clean export and the tool does the rest.
