Tips & notes

Practical tip: Display your Etsy link in Roblox without scripts

Want visitors from your mini-game to check your Etsy shop? Use a BillboardGui. It’s built into Roblox Studio and requires no coding:

  1. Insert a BillboardGui into any part in your game.
  2. Set its Size to UDim2.new(0, 250, 0, 60).
  3. Add a TextLabel inside, set Text to your shop name or a short call, and set BackgroundTransparency to 1.
  4. Use StudsOffset to position it so it stays readable as players move around.

Because it’s a GUI element, it loads instantly and won’t slow down your game. The guide walks through this exact setup, plus how to make the text only appear when a player stands in a specific spot—using only Studio’s built-in properties.
